BRHS Alumni Distinguished Award

Neil R Tetzlaff, BRHS Class of 1960, was selected as the 2016 recipient of the BRHS Alumni Distinguished Award. Neil was in the United States Air Force from 1961 until his retirement in 1990 serving in Viet Nam, Laos, Central America, and over in the Gulf. He flew C130 and AC130 aircraft during this period of time. He was a squadron leader, deputy commander for resources, base magistrate along with other assigned duties during his career. He has volunteered his time post retirement for the medical issues identified during the gulf war as “Gulf War Syndrome”. He is also the recipient of many military awards including the Viet Nam service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.


2016 Scholarship Winner:    Corinne Marsh

Corrine Marsh, daughter of Jeffrey and Beth Marsh, was selected for the 2016 BRHS Alumni Scholarship Award to attend Ferris State University beginning Fall, 2016. Corrine was a BRHS varsity Cheerleader and a member of the BRHS marching band. She enjoys reading, drawing, video games. Her goal at FSU is to study Diagnostic Medical Sonography and eventually earn a BA degree in Ultrasound.
