The purpose of this website is to serve as a centralized information resource for alumni and faculty of Big Rapids High School located in Big Rapids, Michigan. We hope you will use it to find friends, catch up on what’s new about class reunions/activities, and to keep us informed of what you’ve been doing since leaving BRHS.
The Big Rapids High School Alumni Association from Big Rapids, Michigan was organized formally in 1955 to facilitate communications among all BRHS alumni, BRHS faculty, staff, and friends.
The Alumni Association’s key endeavors are:
helping to coordinate and publicize BRHS class reunions
organizing an annual BRHS All-Class Reunion during the first weekend of August of each succeeding year
awarding the annual Alumni Association Scholarship (presented at the All-Class Reunion) to an outstanding graduating senior to further his/her education at Ferris State University
selecting yearly one or more BRHS alumni as a recipient of the BRHS Distinguished Alumni Award
preserving the history of Big Rapids High School through the archiving of class composites, yearbooks, and other artifacts related to BRHS and the surrounding community
supporting Big Rapids Public Schools, the BRPS Board of Education, and the BRPS Student Success Fund with the education of our youth growing up and receiving an education in Big Rapids, Michigan.
We are the only alumni organization officially affiliated with Big Rapids Public Schools and the BRPS Board of Education.
